Writing articles and distributing them to article directories is fairly easy and a great way of marketing your site. However, its not a must do step, in fact it isn't too essential, but if you can do it then do it, because it does help a lot to get you backlinks. If you do it try to persuade newsletters and other sites to publish them (more challenging). That is where the whole trouble lies.
Lot of people write and submit articles without knowing what happens to their articles and where their effort goes, especially when you have to pay to get and submit articles. I'll tell you what happens most of the time? Many of the internet marketing tools online that claims to help you with your article marketing efforts, send your articles to many low level article directories and blogs. These low level sites have very little, to no traffic at all, which means the backlinks that you get from these sites will be of no use. These backlinks will not be counted for the simple reason that these sites do not know how to market their websites. And these tools actually limit your ability to do true article marketing. Now you do understand why it is so important that you chose a topic that is easy to write about. If you can write the article, then your next challenge will be to find a good article marketing site, and when you do, only then is submitting article very important to you and your effort will yield great result, otherwise its useless.

Never be in a rush to build - STEP 14.
Where many affiliates miss it, is never giving their web business enough time to build up. Nothing much will happen for the first couple of months, especially if your new site is typical. You'll probably become frustrated and find it hard to believe that this is going to work. You're likely to start getting annoyed, cheated and ready to quit. For such a 'quick to give up if the cash is not rolling in' mindset, usually, they become the prime target for people selling get-rich-quick junk and scam.
Do not be among many of the affiliates who give up so quick. Stick with it. If you're persistent and get the details right, be rest assured that the process I'm describing works beautifully. Always try to learn something new every day. Do something to improve your business every day. If you do this, success is inevitable.
