Clickbank is one of the leading affiliate programs on the Internet. With tens of thousands of products it has become the largest affiliate network for affiliate marketing. Clickbank products are mostly digital products i.e ebooks, software, just downloadable. These products are broken down into the categories of Business-to-Business, Computing & Internet, Fun & Entertainment, Health & Fitness, Money & Employment, Sports & Recreation, Home & Family, Marketing & Ads, and Society & Culture.Clickbank is another affiliate program that I know bloggers use. I’ve used it myself to promote a small selection of products with moderate success. One product that did pretty well for me with others too is the Google places Unleashed which I actually took up and after testing it, wrote a Review Of Google Places Unleashed and , I personally discovered some tricks to rank well on google places - formerly google maps.

• Clickbank is quite easy to use. Once you’re registered you just need to insert your affiliate name into a URL of products links and you are activated for the product and ready for sales commission.
• Commission share at Clickbank is no doubt very good. Some pay out up to 70% of the value of the product. I’ve made commissions of up to $50 on some sales and know of people who make quite good money from them at monthly basis

•You get paid more often — weekly payments and direct deposit also available
• Combined commissions from all your promotions - With one time registration you get to promote as many products as you desire and get your commissions in one place.
• You get more reward for your efforts - unlike other affiliate program where you have to sell lots and lots of products before you can earn high. The effort that brings you a $100 at other affiliate programs like amazon which pays you 4% in some products, will give you up to $300 for the same effort at clickbank which pays 50% and some products up to 70%.
• Digital products mean instant delivery and faster commissions
• No individual contracts required — easy and fast to get started
• Huge variety of product types not found on other networks
Clickbank Lapses
• Take note; though the money with clickbank maybe good, you might get to pay for it due to the cheap and nasty feel that many of its products have, plus you get many get rich quick programs, doggy ebooks etc. There are still great products in the mix but loosing their face at clickbank. I read Clickbank blog and found out that they are beginning to screen many of the products and are giving new standards and warning to the owners of the products – Telling them to decline from false claims. I would strongly advise that you carefully consider which products you link to, and also suggest that you (or someone you trust) has personally bought the product and confirms its reputation before you start recommending them to readers.
• The Clickbank affiliate interface is pretty basic. In comparison to the stats you get from other programs like Amazon and Adsense this is not very helpful.
• There is no inbuilt options for creating links automatically as there are with many other affiliate programs. Although there is a variety of clickbank tools that offers help with this but if you just use their provided interface all you can really create is text links.
• I personally don't like the idea of not including other countries like Nigeria, where I come from. But I have discovered a way out, and with this solution I have taken that advantage of clickbank and other US programs that says "for US residence only" to enhance my online business and increase my earnings Thanks to graph Card.
