Before you get started, let me give you the whole summary for a successful affiliate marketing that any lazy person needs in order to reap cash online. I found seven points and they are as follows;
1; Find a good niche (area of specialization) that you already have the idea or talent in, and will love to talk about anytime, something you even can and will love to teach others people who come to you.
2; brows to find websites that offers specific or related products or program to what you know you love doing and sign up with the website as a partner to start talking and referring people to patronize that website owners so you get a share of the patronage.
3; Find the product's promotional link and start to promote
4; Build a content-rich, keyword-rich website, and start talking about the product, its benefit (pre-sell contents)
5; Be focus on one topic at a time and build some back links referring your readers to where they can get the product, and weave in your affiliate links and AdSense ads.
6; Get traffic to your website.
7; Lastly, keep growing it..
This method - with the addition of AdSense ads - has worked beautifully for me since 2009. I urge you to master this techniques. It's a bit like serving an apprenticeship.
As part of your apprenticeship you'll learn SEO (search engine optimization) skills, copy writing skills and various other internet marketing skills which will prove to be invaluable, whatever route you choose next.
Ensure you are having fun with it. Belief me, the money is always easy coming when the job is fun to do.
I decided to include Google's AdSense in this tutorial. Strictly speaking, AdSense is a good advertising network that pays you for serving ads on your website or blog. However, in many ways it's similar to an affiliate program. I think AdSense is fantastic. maybe i say it because it fetches me cool money.. It's also free to join, free and easy to use. I find AdSense easy and even many marketers agree that it gives an easier earnings than many other affiliate programs. So i am recommending it to you, its essential that you include AdSense in your plans.
With the help of the seven points highlighted above, we can now get started with the steps to take...
Set a goal - STEP 1
If you plan to go out at any time of the day to a particular place in mind, one thing makes it easy and its also the force that will push you to proceed to that place. Firstly, you need to know where you're going, and secondly, its benefit or reward has to be known and set. All the reason for working even the most pleasurable things we do is tie to one thing in our mind and that is to make money. So its important to set financial goal, since the idea aims at making money. Let's start with a modest goal. Say you aim to earn a total of $500 (US) a month in affiliate commissions and AdSense revenue.
Lets keep this amount low for every one including the completely newbie, so we say $100 (US) its important that you believe you can do this. Set an achievable goal, achieve small successes first, see the money in your hands or in your bank account, and then increase your goal or target.
Perhaps you have much larger goals. That's OK. Whatever your goal is, always know that you can only possess the amount of a thing according to how much you know that thing.
Find Your Niche - STEP 2
When you walk in a crowded street, your movement is often slow because it is congested, but when you are on a street with few people, you movement is faster and free. Working in a narrow path keeps you focus and allows you to know all the ups and down in that path making you an expert in that pathway and quick success is often guaranteed in such path. A lot of affiliate just go into what is hot and never take the time to find out if its what they really want to do. If you are having trouble finding your niche area or topic, read Ken Evoy's Affiliate Masters E-course and get the excellent advice to find a niche that suits you and your interests.
You can also print out the Affiliate Masters E-course, find a quiet, comfortable spot and read it several times.
Spend a lot of time thinking carefully about this and jotting down notes. You're planning a business, so don't rush it. It's very important.
You'll probably need to avoid Internet marketing topics because that field is so overcrowded and competitive. It's much safer and easier to succeed if you locate a less competitive niche.
Choose a topic that is easy to write about;.
Even if you've already started with affiliate marketing and you have chosen a niche, I urge you to read the Affiliate Masters E-course,. It might make you change your mind for good.
You can follow your passion or chase the money. With luck - and a bit of keyword research - you may be able to do both. But i bet you, money is in lots where there is passion and drive, so find your passion and drive, that's your true niche. You will be either convince that you did choose the right niche or discover that you had gone the wrong way and then you can return to choose the right niche when you read Affiliate Masters E-course,
Choose A Profitable Niche - STEP 3
Niche marketing is all about 'finding and selling to those who readily want what you love and find very fun doing' At the end of it, all you want is to make money. Who really cares if its fun or not, its really going to be fun when the money rolls in. If you are not making money with what you are doing then no matter how much you love doing it, you will get frustrated and maybe dump it. Get information for more details by learning How To Find A Profitable Niche
To build a profitable website of your niche, firstly, you need to do some research. Google AdWords and Wordtracker keyword tools are both a very good tools that can help you choose the most profitable niche from among the ones you're considering.
Because you're planning to use AdSense, you want valuable keywords or key phrases, if possible ones that people are paying at least 50 cents per click for on yahoo search marketing and Google AdWords, hence the more reason you need to do a thorough research.
More reason to research is that you want to build a site that the search engines will love, so you also want to find key phrases that many people are typing into the search engines. You don't rely on guesswork, to have a good success on this one.
You must do this keyword research BEFORE you start building your web site, or you will labor so much and later come back to do it, which would cost you so much. That's critically important.
Find out how much advertisers are willing to pay for the keywords or key phrases you're interested in. Here's how.
Go to https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal and play around with the free Keyword Tool.
For example; try putting in a keyword or phrase, such as "recipe" and click on "Get More Keywords". Pretend you're willing to pay the maximum per click that the tool allows - 100. (You can choose any currency e.g US.)
Over on the right side of the page, make sure you select "Cost and position estimates" .
The tool will calculate for you the estimated average CPC (cost per click) for a whole lot of words and phrases.
Try entering a different word, say "debt" or "free", click on "Re-calculate" and watch how the CPC changes.
You don't HAVE to choose a topic which has expensive keywords either. Often topics that have expensive keywords are very competitive. You may do better choosing a less competitive niche because that's where you'll get your site to do more, though, with cheaper keywords, but if more people get to find you, the cheap keywords clicked more time will fetch you much money..
In July 2008, Google improved its free keyword tool, making it much more useful. It now shows you the approximate number of monthly searches done at Google for any keywords you type in. So you can now do some fast, reliable keyword research there free. So this is a very good place to start your keyword research, using real search numbers from Google.
If you use Site Build It to build your site, you'll find the brainstorming tool in it awesome to help you come up with ideas and phrases you wouldn't have thought of without it.
Beware: If you choose certain topics, Google will not allow you to place AdSense ads on your site and you'll miss out on a very lucrative opportunity.
Such topics include gambling, firearms, ammunition, balisongs, butterfly knives, and brass knuckles; beer or alcohol; tobacco or tobacco-related products; and prescription drugs.
For a full list of topics you may wish to avoid see: https://www.google.com/adsense/policies?hl=en_US
Advertisers can choose to have their ads displayed only on Google or also on a large network of sites. Will AdSense ads you see on Google appear on your pages? To get an idea, find web pages that have material similar to the content you're planning to create and look at their AdSense ads.
For more accurate research, you can also use the free AdSense preview tool to see which ads are being displayed to people in different countries.
Don't make any firm decision on your niche until you've taken the next step...
